February Border - Hearts

Every month I would like to bring you a scrapbooking border. This one is for a 12 x 12 inch page, although I shave a little piece off the side as I am still working my way through my old creative memories albums and they were just shy of 12x12!

For this border I stamped and cut out using the Big shot the elements from the 'Meant to Be' stampin' Up bundle on page 6 of the new Spring/Summer catalogue. It costs £49.50 and gives you a 10% discount on buying the stamp set and framelits separately. Contact me if you would like to order or go to my online shop. (see top of this blog for the link). There are 16 dies altogether in the framelits and the stamp set is 'cling' (with rubber ) and has sentiments as well as some pretty hearts. I like that the images combine folklore type of hearts as well as rounded hearts.

I also used the polka dot tulle ribbon and lovely lipstick 1/8th inch grosgrain ribbon. I also used lovely ;lipstick ink and card so it all ties together really nicely. I used glue dots to put the ribbon into place. The hearts glued onto the page keep the ribbons in place.

I am using this bordered page to scrapbook my engagement photographs!

I have now put together a class schedule for March so if you click on the top of the page under classes you will be able to see what is on offer and book a place.
