Free 'Hoppy' stamp set

The 'So hoppy together' stamp set is FREE during Sale-a-bration which is Stampin' Up's special promotion where you can earn FREE products when you place a qualifying order. A qualifying order to earn this stamp set is £45.00. There is a whole host of items you can earn and I will be showcasing some of these on my blog until the promotion ends on 31st March 2019. The products are time limited and when they are gone they are gone. Already the foil card and the organza ribbons have gone!

But back to this lovely set! It has some great frog images and sentiments and is 'cling' (red rubber that clings to a block or stamparatus). I really like the frog he is such fun. These three cards don't show all of the images in the set there are a couple I have not used yet but I am going to be back with another post soon because from the 15th February you can also buy a set of framelits and another stamp set with sentiments that both co-ordinate with this FREE item.

So here are the cards which are simply stamped with black memento ink and coloured in with ink from the ink pads using a blender pen. 


This card is so simple - I was taking a second look and I think it would be cool to add a title to look as if the 3 frogs are holding it - so see a later blog post as I am going to do this!


This card has the frog juggling some flies - they are a separate image in the set and are in a row of 3 so I stamped it twice to get the juggle effect. The crown on the frog is also in the set and I stamped it and cut it out before gluing onto his head.


This card I really like I stamped and cut just the end of the image so I got the wheels - unfortunately I had to cut with scissors because they are just slightly larger than a 3/4 inch circle punch and the 1 inch circle punch is too big. This is a bigger card - A5 size and it allows the wheels to be juggled really high. I like the black base for the card as the colours really light up. I used lemon-lime twist, coastal cabana and pacific point inks and cardstock colours.

The Golden Honey Papers in their pristine black white and gold said 'office stationery ' to me and so I used them together with the Honey Bee stamp set and Detailed Bee dies to make some coasters, a gift box holding 6 notecards and envelopes, a post it note holder and a cute giant paperclip topper. I put the photo onto a Facebook page that is for Stampin' Up demonstrators today and was totally overwhelmed by the response and requests for instructions on how to make the post it note holder - so I have quickly put this post together and it is mostly a photo show of the instructions because that was the fastest way I could do it! To make this desktop holder you will need some basic black cardstock. The holder has been made to fit post it notes that measure 3 x 3 inches. Joppy goes Blog Hoppy

Hello, I love that I can make a rhythm out of joppy and hoppy - its always a struggle thinking of a blog title! Welcome to anyone who has not visited my blog before, I have a fairly new blog, have not participated in the blog hop before and so its especially great to see you! Playing with Different Coloured Circles

  I thought I would share with you another set of cards and technique that Learned recently on the Creative Card Retreat I attended. I am catching up with some of the presentations still and this tutorial came from one of the Creative team Jackie Bolhuis. These are the cards I made and the envelopes to match and you may just be able to see the inside decoration for the end card in the photograph! The cards look really striking in the new bright in-colours and you simply cut four circles in different graduating sizes using a circle punch - I used my layering circles dies. The you cut them in half on your trimmer. Then arrange. So this is how I layered up my half circles and then the photograph belo shows how I arranged them onto the card. Then simply add a sentiment to the card.
