Bees - my little gift packets

When I had my open day on the 4th January I made these little gift packets which had a bee giant paperclip with my class dates for January to April 2020.

The paperclips are so easy to make, just stamp the large bee in the Honey Bee stamp set and cut out with its co-ordinating die and then place 3 stampin' Dimensionals as shown in the photograph, sandwiching the top of the paperclip in the middle. I think it makes a great bookmark but is also very handy for clipping paperwork together.
My packets were made using these cute ziplock bags which are designed to hold herbs. I was intending to use them to collect seeds in for the garden but they have a plastic coating so I'm not sure if they will breath properly and my seeds may all go to mold!! So instead I used them as little packets with the beehive and bee cut out die piece on the front and sweets and a small pen inside.
It was a lovely day and I enjoyed everyones company. We made a bee card at the make and take which I will feature tomorrow on my blog. It also has a box that goes with it that will hold 6 cards and envelopes. This would make a fabulous present.

I am considering redesigning the box so it holds separately some greetings which can be selected to stick on the card for the appropriate occasion.
