A holder for my music CDs
I am a very bad saxophone student, and I noticed my CD's that go with my learn to play books and my reeds were getting very messy and along came the lovely Music from the Heart stamp set ..... so I made a little book to hold them. The above photograph is the front cover.
I use a whole sheet of 12 x 12 designer series paper to make the inside pocket pages and a folded piece of 12 x 6 cardstock in green for the front and back cover.
To make the pages take your 12x 12 DSP fold it in half upwards and then fold the top piece down - then you just fold it in half vertically so the pocket is on the outside part of each facing page.

Inside are pages with pockets that hold the CDs and the reeds. I have decorated some plastic CD covers and put them into the pockets to keep the CDs nice and clean. Generally when CD's come with music books they are in these little plastic covers stuck inside the cover of the book and they tend to get lost. They are also very cheap to buy on the internet and I had a pack of 100 and I use them to hold all of my spare die cuts inside each of my die cut folders and for prepared pieces for classes and for holding stamping dimensionals - they are very handy little covers!!!
The pages are made using the hinge system - You score a piece of card 6 inches wide every 1 inch and 1 inch and then half inch and repeat for the number of pages you want to make.
Then flatten with a bone folder and glue one side of the one inch piece - if you need more pages then you will need to extend you card and glue in another piece - but I/ didn't have too many CD's to house in my folder. The photo below shows the under side of the card.
When the pieces are glued they look like the photograph below and this forms front back covers as well as the inside pages.
