Over 1000 Reactions - Let It Ride
I put this card onto the Stampin' Up Demonstrators facebook page and received such a great response! I was quite overwhelmed. Its a shame the people who loved it are all fellow demonstrators as this results in zero sales for me !! If only I could suss out how to bring my blog and my shop to card makers in the same way!
One of the reasons a lot of other demonstrators loved this card was that I used a stamp set that has been around in the main catalogue for quite a while called 'Let it Ride ' and teamed it with a die that has only recently come out of a gated arbour from a die set called Garden Gateway dies - I took the die and just cut off the arch leaving the gate and then glued one part of the gate directly to the card and the second gate on top but swung back with a little rope made of linen thread. A bit of very simple colouring using watercolour pencils. The little bird on the fence is also from the new stamp set Graces Garden that co-ordinates with the dies.
I sponged the edges of the cream card with Soft Suede ink and added a couple of layers.
