Colour Challenge and Sending Flowers Die

Lots of projects using this fab die set that is now available on the co-ordinating products with Sale-a-bration - see my previous post for details.
Once again using the colour challenge of black, lovely lipstick and old olive in different coloured card stocks and just one greeting outside and one inside the card.
The card has a circle aperture cut slightly smaller than the outside of the die cut. The die cut itself has been cut around and the little half circle scored around the edge and all poked outwards with the pokey tool. The centres of the flowers have been used as confetti on the inside of the card - use a very fine nozzle on your glue so not to get in a sticky mess!! Iused the stampin up Fine tip Glue pen.
Ensure your greeting inside the card cannot be seen through the aperture on the outside - I have placed mine near the bottom of the card - and likewise will write my personal message to the recipient here too!
I used some of the spare flowers to decorate an envelope to match the card.
Despite having very thin stalks these flowers stand up nicely.
I had so many ideas playing with this set - In a couple of days I will start to blog the other cards i have made using this die as a frame and a different more subtle colour combo.
Ensure when you buy dies and stamps that you have lots of ideas on how to use them. This die I have used as a hanging decoration, on a card, as a frame with other stamp sets and as an Easel card and on a box lid back in February! I think it would also make a lovely oversized tag!!
