Dinosaurs Day 4 and 5

Forgiveness please - I got carried away the last few days with some stamping of Easter cards and gifts for friends and neighbours. It seems so appropriate to send good wishes through the post this year with us all confined inside - so much better than Facebook which seems to be settling down a bit. I am getting a few calls to play games online but Im not really an online person - although I do post a lot of cards on my Instagram. I have been doing a 30 day challenge with Martins Mayhem and catch up every few days after a binge. No crafting this weekend though as Simon and I will be out in the garden doing lots of clearing up. We already diverted our stream now it is no longer a raging torrent to stop it eroding the bank and making it go against its original old wall found buried under lots and lots of rubbish.
So this card was a lot of fun to make - similar in format to the others and another you can make if you buy the bundle and get the card kit alongside it with me for Free - see my kit page for details. The new Stampin Up shop is looking very posh if you follow that link. Check out the clearance rack regularly I am sure that more will be on there as a new catalogue looms in June.
Use the white card base and patterned paper to make the base of the card and die cut circles on the smaller piece of white card from the Dino dies set. Stamp the dino and his scales and cut with the dies and I also stamped on some 'v' shapes on his body to match his scales. Colour the eyes with black felt tipped pen. Stamp and mount the sentiment.
Here is the Day 5 Dino complete with a jurassic tree also in the stamp set and dies! You definitely get a lot in this set. This background paper could be used in all sorts of way not just for Dino's. I used stitched rectangles die to cut the white backgrounds for each scene but it looks just as lovely with plain card. The directions are very similar to the above .
Have a lovely day and I hope some sunshine shines on you wherever you are today.
Stay safe and well
