Using the 'Let's Party Treat Packaging' Kit

Hello there! What can you do if you have bought this wonderful party packaging kit for your party and you want to utilise the stamp set and some of the spare items such as the colourful pink and green dots and even the left over cut out pieces!

What kit am I talking about ? Its the Lets Party Treat Packaging Kit - it costs only £18.00 and you can make 8 cute boxes using the contents. However, the major draw for me was the stamp set!! (pictured below'.

In the stamp set you have sentiments, some cute images and a couple of little background textures. So a very handy little set! in addition the kit contains a Misty Moonlight ink spot, double sided tape and dimensionals and a stamping block. OF course it also includes all the paper/card bits and some bright sticky spots!

LET'S PARTY TREAT PACKAGING KIT (ENGLISH)

I thought of lots of card ideas that I can use the stamp set for BUT what about adding some co-ordination to your party! So I used the leftover items , some watercoloring pencils and some additional white card to make the following items:

For the party cakes - I made some simple cake toppers by adding the toppers and stamped and cutout stamped images to cocktail sticks with a tiny piece of sticky tape on the back.
For identifying your party guests you may want some name badges. I used some of the wastage from the pack and coloured and fussy cut some of the stamped images to make these. You can add a safety pin to attach it to your guest! The balloon images are great little images to add to the characters in the stamp set.

Co-ordinate fully with postcard invites - that 'to and from' stamps are really handy for this but also if you want to add tags to a present. I used a couple of the FREE Sale-a-bration note cards to make the postcards and the background paper! See last weeks post on how you can earn Free items for the next two months during Sale-a-bration!

I think this stamp set would also work well in a diary or planner and the images are small and can fit onto the corner of a journal page neatly.

I have been very productive with my knitting, quilting, crochet and embroidery projects this month and I have posted Podcast 4 where I talk about all of my projects and progress as well as featuring Stampin' Up part of my crafty life near the end. A link to Podcast 4 is HERE if you would like a watch!!

I have also been enjoying two of our team meetings one from my up line and one from my uplines upline!! As there is distance between the teams it is held on Zoom and always helps me to feel motivated and gives me a great sense of community.

We always craft and below are the cards that have resulted from mystery stamping and fun folds, lots of ideas for my classes which start up again in September. Sale-a-bration time is a great time to join Stampin'Up and for July and August you can join and get £130 of products for £99 including postage and also including additional catalogues and business items (this is the normal offering if you join as a demonstrator) BUT during the next two months you will also receive a fantastic 18 month organiser in a very pretty jacket. I'm very jealous! If you want to join my little team you will be very welcome - just contact me for a chat and I can answer all of your questions regarding what being a demonstrator involves!

Forgot to mention - its not just a organiser but 3 notebooks and a stamp set also!

I have another Kit to make additional items from next week called 'You are my Anchor' and just as I thought I need some new kits Stampin' Up have launched two new kits so I can happily continue with my little series! I also would like to start a series on using the Heart Punch Pack and make some cards using some of my new stamps and dies from the new main catalogue as well as the new holiday mini catalogue - this means Christmas but I am resisting a little bit longer as I am very much enjoying all the sunny summer weather we have been having. It makes me get up very early to walk the dog while it is cooler and that leaves me lots of time do other things. Although I have been busy with visitors I am sure I can fit some crafting in next week! Perhaps a slightly smaller post!!

Before I go check out the Clearance Rack for some bargains (In particular the Playful Alphabet Dies) recently added ahead of time to make room in the warehouse - you will need to be quick though as they tend to go quick! CLICK HERE

Until then I hope you are enjoying everything summer brings (mosquito bites, sunburn !! - only joking)

Love JoP x
