A Bit About Me
My name is Jo Poulton known as JoP and hence my blog is called joppy which could stand for something but it doesn't! Originally it was just the way I used to sign my initials at work and my boss at the time started calling me joppy. I like it!
I live in the countryside with my husband and have 2 grown up children and 1 grand child. I work part-time and spend the rest of my time between being very busy and not doing a lot at all!

I love spending time with family and friends and also love time on my own walking the dog and foraging for plants. I spend a lot of time in wellies!
Here I am swinging on the weeping willow in my garden over the stream which feels a bit daring - will the rope snap will I fall into the stream!!
Crafting for me has always been in my family but I guess a lot of people will say that because my parents generation did not have the shopping opportunities and so they made stuff. Shopping online is useful and it is always nice to get goodies in the post. I have in the past bought too much craft stash online and from shows and found that it freezes my creativity and takes up way too much room in the house requiring storage solutions and bigger cupboards! I like making stuff too but sometimes my projects run away with me.
I have always wanted to share crafting with others and Stampin' Up makes this possible for me as I can easily buy a standard set of products again and again alongside finding something new. No more trailing around craft shops looking for an extra piece of card for a person who has joined my craft class at the last minute!
I hope my Stampin' Up shop - will serve you well and I will be delighted to be your demonstrator. ( click on the link at the top of the blog page ). I love the new kits collections, I have been trying to put a kit together for a reasonable price for years and now Stampin' Up have done it for me! Check out the kits collection in my online shop.
And now - stop press Stampin' Up is going back to scrapbooking my favourite hobby of all. What could be better than putting all of those memories into an album to come back to on rainy days together. I regularly print off my photos and pick the ones I love to put into albums and the very process of doing this alongside others offers the most fabulous conversations and friendships to develop. Those photos that eventually get lost on your phone or Facebook will be there in your photo albums as little recordings of happenings with absolutely no adverts or interference - let your mind restfully enjoy the journey.
I love for comments on my blog so don't hold back.
