Image
THIS week is going to be Dino week! I have 7 cards to show you one for every day and I have added a Kit Box to my Kits page for April. You order from me the Dino Days stamp set and Dino Dies as a bundle (which is 10%off buying them separately) for £47.50 and I will add some supplies to make 6 cards including a piece of each of the 6 designs of co-ordinating paper.  You can either order online with the April hostess code and I will send the kit pieces, including envelopes, along separately or you can order by emailing me and paying direct to bank and I will post it all to you in a little box. See my kit page for details of the April box and how to buy. You only buy the bundle - the kit pieces are free if you use the hostess code when you buy. Party Favours

Image
Look at these great party favours put them in a treat bag or give them out as prizes. I gave mine out at a recent class.  I saw these colourful sweets in Marks and Spencers and they exactly fit the Stampin Up treat bags sadly now retired - but don't let that deter you. Just make your own treat bags with the circle shaped top adorned with these cute fellows.  I hid the end f the plastic bag underneath the decoration. I used a retired scallop circle punch for the back in DSP and then an ordinary circle punch in white card to frame the little bonanza Buddy on the front.  Use dimensions to stick it all together! Balloon Tags

Image
It struck me that the little label dies in the Bonanza Die set would make really nice tags for balloons at a children's party. If the balloons are helium you could also weight them. I have used some fake balloons in this photograph because I don't actually have a party lined up at the moment with balloons - but I actually like the look of them on my craft room wall so they are staying there as wall art for the time being!!  I cut the Tag shaped die from the set and decorated each with a strip of designer series paper along the bottom (just use up your scraps) Then I punched some 3/4 inch diameter circles using the circle punch and wrote with a sharpie pen each letter of the persons name. Then I decorated the rest of the tag with the stamped and die cut images from the Bonanza Buddies suite. Dont forget the mini pompoms on the top of their party hats!  Is there anything else I can do with this set? Well ..... yes of course - after the party the photos will need

The Bonanza Buddies Together

Image
In this card I had all of the animals in the Bonanza Buddies stamp set join together and with some presents make a sweet birthday card with a tag cut aperture. The tag shape is from the the dies that go with the stamp set. The animals are adhered to the front of the card with dimensionals also and the Happy Birthday Sentiment and presents piled up on the bottom of the card. I love that the images of the presents also have the ribbons to match. There are no dies for the present / gift shapes but they are really easy to cut out by hand and it is likely you will place the ribbons in different places each time you stamp them up.  The tag shape was cut out of the Birthday Bonanza designer Series Paper. When the card is closed the tag sort of pops up. This is a view of the card inside. I think I have used all of the designs now in the designer series paper. If you didn't buy the paper you could easily make background paper using this stamp set. The papers will keep you in Bi

Who can Toucan?

Image
I made this party bag using designer series paper from the Bonanza Buddies Suite and keeping with the idea of the candles I stamped the long present image and the end of the lions tail image to make the candle. Then I snipped the toucan's beak so that the candle is being held. For the bag handles I cut two stitched rectangles one inside the other.   The gift box is made with toucan images in the Designer Series paper pack that goes with this bundle. Did you know that some of these images can also be cut out using the co-ordinating dies- although no need to wast the paper if you have the stamp set! The toucan in the label is sitting on top of the pile of presents stamped in different colours and cut out by hand as such a simple shape to cut. The tag is one of the dies and I have stamped a background using the little confetti die which as I may have mentioned before is my favourite stamp in the set and I think I will be using it al over the place with other stamp sets also! The Lions Share!

Image
Today I am using the Lion image from the fabulous Bonanza Buddies Stamp set and matching dies with which I created a very large box, a card and a tag.The box was made by cutting large pieces of card and taping them together to fit the lid which was the biggest box lid I could make using A4 card! I was aiming for some big pieces for my open hall event to promote the new Spring/Summer mini catalogue - or not so mini!! Sale-a-bration launches at the same time and Both catalogues are winging their way to my current customer base. If you are new to my website and interested in a catalogue please be sure to drop me a line and I will be delighted to send you one if you live in the UK. IF you live in Austria, Germany, France or Netherlands you can also order from me and the catalogues are on my shop - follow the link on my SHOP page above or to the side panel. The card background has been embossed with a new embossing folder in the new mini called 'coastal weave. Im not sure it is co

Koala Shaker Card and Matching Gift Bags and Tags

Image
x  I really like the Birthday Bonanza Stamp set and having dies to match is a bonus! The dies don't just cut out the little animals. There is a lion, a toucan and a Koala in this set!  They also cut out some banners as you can see in this photo, and a tag which is really handy for cards and tags. I used the tag die to cut the aperture in this shaker card. I cut out the 'Happy Birthday' greeting by hand - I just followed the curves of the sentiment. If you spend £45.00 during Sale-a-bration you can choose something from the Sale-a-bration offering for FREE and I chose the Metallic Bakers Twine and Sequins Combo Pack to go with this set. The sequins are striped and in blue, yellow and orange and so they go really well and the bakers twine is sparkly in blue and yellow. The sequins are my shaker 'fodder' in this card.  The best image in the Birthday Bonanza set has to be the tiniest one - which is the little fluff ball or star image. You can see it on this c
