Some Memorable Mosaic projects

This little bookmark was made using the mosaic papers and the beads shown in close up below. They are rolled pieces of the designer series papers and the dots are also punched from the paper with 3/4 inch and 1/2 inch circle punches - which are very useful and unfortunately retiring on 2nd June - the good news is they are currently available at a discount on my online shop! yea - see yesterdays post for a link to retirement list OR just type in the order codes or circle punch in the shop search! I have made kits and they are going out in the post today to some of my friends and customers. This paper lends itself to rolling beads I have decorated the envelopes using the stamp set and sat in the garden to stamp these as the craft room is north facing and cold and outside is sunny - so no competition. I will be doing the same today as it is sunny in Devon today as soon as I have been to the post office!! Tomorrow some more projects that are not cards with this mosaic paper and beads - so ...

Bees - my little gift packets

When I had my open day on the 4th January I made these little gift packets which had a bee giant paperclip with my class dates for January to April 2020. The paperclips are so easy to make, just stamp the large bee in the Honey Bee stamp set and cut out with its co-ordinating die and then place 3 stampin' Dimensionals as shown in the photograph, sandwiching the top of the paperclip in the middle. I think it makes a great bookmark but is also very handy for clipping paperwork together. My packets were made using these cute ziplock bags which are designed to hold herbs. I was intending to use them to collect seeds in for the garden but they have a plastic coating so I'm not sure if they will breath properly and my seeds may all go to mold!! So instead I used them as little packets with the beehive and bee cut out die piece on the front and sweets and a small pen inside. It was a lovely day and I enjoyed everyones company.
