mac2604 I cannot help it! I love the mini curvy keepsakes box and it really looks cute in this paper alongside the notebook and pen! I cut the spare butterfly from the papers they're are so many images to cut out in the mosaic and the beads are tied to the end of the crinkle ribbon which is light and silky. I covered the notebook and also cut a butterfly and used a little vintage frame from long time ago stampin up stash and a strip of paper rolled up and inserted into the pen so it all matches. The notebook has a catch at the side made from a folded piece of paper for the pen to latch onto. The notepad was from Wilkinsons and about 22p so I have bought about 100 and often send to friends as gifts. I have now bought the larger size notepads too- they are great for students and gardeners. I'm onto a different stamp set next - going to use my See A Silhouette stamp set and papers - the stamp set and dies are not retiring but the papers are - Im going to buy some spare papers alon

 This little gift set was made with a gardening friend in mind. It would make a great gift for Mothers Day also! The folder is made to house a large notebook and 6 seed packets and a matching pen. I covered the notebook in the DSP and cut elements out using the stamp set and dies. The little metal label is Stampin' Up metal element from a few years ago. I have left the writing on seed packets and notebook to the recipient of the present. The measurements for the folder are shown below.  The black dotted lines show score lines and striped area is cut out and the bold red line is a cut line. When you have snipped out the shaded piece you can make two small squares that are scored 0.5 inches on each side for the pen holders - there are 5 sides because two overlap and glue. Then glue onto the main piece as shown below.   The seed packet side is glued flat. The notebook side is glued with an extra fold at the bottom - this makes the seed packet pocket half and inch long

Continuing with the Tabs for everything stamp set and punch I have made a cute notebook with matching pen. The notebook features a velcro dot under the tab to keep your show stopping shopping needs nice and tidy!! The note book and pen are included in their 'raw materials' format to make the following little set of projects when you buy the stamp set and the co-ordinating punch from me. See under monthly featured bundles on the menu at the top of the page for more details. To cover the little notepad you need some pink card and this is wrapped around the notepad. The measurements will vary according to the size of your note pad and how much overlap you want but the trick is to measure and score your card burnishing with a bone folder - or I sometimes use a teaspoon which is quite effective.
