Please do follow my shop link and follow the Hop to the Shop button - once on my shop you will see that under the left hand menu saying sale-a-bration that when you click on £45 spend or £90 spend there is a whole host of extra freebies from the main catalogue that have been added - I have bagged some dinosaur papers - as pictured today above, while stocking up on some stamp sets, some double sided tape and some yellow card (yellow was very popular this month with me!). Now is a great time to get some basics and then bag a freebie.

Colour Challenge and Sending Flowers Die

Image
Lots of projects using this fab die set that is now available on the co-ordinating products with Sale-a-bration - see my previous post for details. Once again using the colour challenge of black, lovely lipstick and old olive in different coloured card stocks and just one greeting outside and one inside the card.  The card has a circle aperture cut slightly smaller than the outside of the die cut. The die cut itself has been cut around and the little half circle scored around the edge and all poked outwards with the pokey tool. The centres of the flowers have been used as confetti on the inside of the card - use a very fine nozzle on your glue so not to get in a sticky mess!! Iused the stampin up Fine tip Glue pen.  Ensure your greeting inside the card cannot be seen through the aperture on the outside - I have placed mine near the bottom of the card - and likewise will write my personal message to the recipient here too!  I used some of the spare flowers to decorate an en

Babywipe Technique

Image
The bee stamps and dies from Honey Bee stamp set were used on these two cards along with some paper from the 'See a Silhouette' designer series paper. The paper has some super colourful designs which I love love love and one of the designs has hexagons. I cut around some of the shape and added it to the card and then stamped using Babywipe technique. Babywipe technique is a technique where you make your own colourful ink pad using about 4 baby wipes folded in half inside a plastic sandwich container (the chinese takeaway type). You add drops of ink from your watercolour reindeer refits. I used 3 colours : night of navy, real red and daffodil delight. Drop the colours onto the baby wipe stack and they gradually spread out and join up to each other until the whole surface is covered. It is then ready to use as an ink pad. If you put the lid on your sandwich container this lovely ink pad lasts two to three days. TIP - when you are inking your stamps be sure to keep the stam

Sending Flowers Die - Easel card

Image
When I first saw the sending flowers dies I fell immediately involve with this lovely large circular image and then had to think - but what can I use it for ! It does come with some pretty cool labels like the black dotted label in this card - all those little dots will love your hoover!!! and some additional flowers cut outs. I realised it made a pretty good easel card - just fold it over in the middle and the flowers are already in position to stand up by themselves! I cut the green card behind the easel slightly larger than the basic black card base so that it creates a frame. The sentiments on the front and inside the card are both using the Sending you Thoughts stamp set free in Sale-a-bration and they fit the die set table s really well. I have not finished with these dies yet! Or the stamp set. I think they deserve a prettier look as well so watch this space and as the sun comes out I may come out of my black mood and start thinking spring! JoPx

New Spring Catalogue and Classes

Image
Oh my gosh I did not realise how long it has been since I last posted. I can blame it on getting my crafting workshops up and running at Christmas time and this little fellow - who is currently only a baby and takes a lot of my time. However he is very good at having a nap while I craft and helping me open the parcel of new Stampin' Up products!! I am NOT organised. I have given up my job have all day at my disposal and I am WORSE! The sad thing is I did make a lot of christmas projects and I didn't post them. It is a chore posting because I am not technical and my internet is very slow as no high speed broadband here in the countryside. I was going a storm on Instagram for a while but that has fallen by the wayside also. BAD me!!  I have arranged some new classes for Springtime and if you would like to see the dates and what is on offer please nip over to my classes pages. I would love to hear from anyone who would like to do a class. Later on I am hoping
