Tags made using the 'Something for everything' Ephemera Pack 22nd August 2024 I was just reading my last post and my Blog generally and realise it is terribly out of date!  The main reason I have written this post is that Stampin' Up have announced that they are going to be doing a scrapbooking offer. I am elated as I was missing my scrapbooking and workshops and generally getting together with people and having a fantastic day.  I have been travelling all the way to Purbrook where I grew up 3 hours drive away from Devon where I live now (and that it on a good day with the wind behind me and no holiday makers on the road! ) to take part in Creative Memories scrapbooking workshops. (There is only one person who you can buy products from in the EU and CM is quite expensive). I have been unable to run my own workshops by the fact that Stampin' Up do not have a decent scrapbooking offering - but it looks like starting next week they will!!  On this website I will need to

Great Expectations

I am so happy to soon be a Grandma !! For my daughter to record her pregnancy I decorated a little pretty notebook and added some pockets and extra bit to some of the pages. Then I made a little folder to gift it to her and used the same designer series paper to make a matching coaster so when she is journalling she can have her drink nearby.  The pages of this little notebook from Stampin' Up already have some lines, sayings and images printed onto the pages but some of the sayings were a bit repetitive so I covered them in the co-ordinating designer series paper. I also added some extra pull out pages with the DSP for her to add photographs or more journalling and a list of ideas of what to journal.  I used some of the pages to add extra decoration and pockets. The notebook is quite small it measures 10.8cm x 14cm. There are 24 pages. You may have missed it in the catalogue - it is on page 73 and again on page 170. It co-ordinates with the pressed petals designer

Project Life hack with tabs for everything

I made these cards to fit my Project Life album. I'm a scrapbooker mainly so always want to make my stamp sets do double duty. Here is the 6x4 inches and 3x4inches cards to fit the pockets. The grey squares show where the photos will go. This set is perfect for photographs as the sentiments are very generic for albums. I have used the punch and images as well as more word art around the border with stamped sentiments in different fonts and colours. There are so many sentiments in this set I am sure you will find just the ones you are looking for when you are scrapbooking your memories. My favourite is 'Happy Life' Happy Life! JoP
