New Home Card

Image
I am back with So Hoppy Together stamp set - this time featuring the framelits - these cut out the images and believe me that is very handy with those tiny little flies which cut in groups of three - clever! There is also the lily pad and the lillies. The little key is from the classic garage suite and is called classic garage metal elements and includes the spanner I featured on mondays mechanic card. The framelits are available from 1st March, let me know if you would like more information and I will send you the leaflet. I made my own sentiment using letters from 'make a difference ' stamp set. I also thought you could use the key with the frog for a new car or passed driving test card. IF you make one I would love to see it! JoPx

Coaster frog

Image
Now this little fellow has been put to good use as I have encapsulated him into a plastic coaster. I purchased this from Wightcat Crafts in a pack of four - so I can make a set and then a little box to put them in. It would make a fun present for a man or lady friend. As for this one - it has already been snaffled by Simon!! I had barely snapped it together ! - I had to run downstairs to take the photo and it was already set up in the lounge. This glass is empty - time for a refill! I used paper from Gingham Gala and used the smaller gingham patterned side. I stamped with bubbles from the stamp set called 'Beauty Abounds' which is a great set for background stamps - more from this stamp set this weekend! Then I used the glass from 'Half Full' stamp set. and coloured in the frog and cut him out with the new cutters coming soon! I stamped the sentiment from the Half Full stamp set. Its a lovely idea for a gift. Maybe you could adapt the coaster idea and make one...

More from Joppy - or is that HOPPY!!

Hey ! these little chaps are so helpful advertising my website for me! You may have noticed I am using this set a lot lately - check some previous posts! Today I have reversed one of the images - again. I used the wine glasses from a set I have had for a while called 'Half Full' (in the main catalogue). It has some lovely sentiments, one of which is on this card. The wine glass fits the frogs hands perfectly! I added some eyelashes to the frog on the right - thanks you to Diane who suggested this during a crafting sesh on Saturday. I also added some lips. If you look closely I coloured some very light blue around the bottom of their feet it sort of adds some 3D effect and I  pumped up the sentiment by re-stamping it in blue ink and cutting out the 'drink with' bit and put it on some dimensions cut in half. These frogs are stamped directly to the card, however, coming soon are some framelits to fit this stamp set. I you want more information contact me. The fram...

Don't Mind if I do!

Well, I'm not on duty tonight so why not!! Another cute card from the So Hoppy Together stamp set. Only available during Sale-a-bration with a qualifying order of £45.00 and then it is yours for nothing. I have another one for you tomorrow. Joppy loves the Hoppy. DOH! If you are wondering how I created a mirror image of the frog to make frog pal then I will reveal this secret later in March at my Stamparatus class - such a clever little piece of equipment. Check out my classes to see if you can come along and learn how to use the Stamparatus in oh so many ways! JoPx

Free papers ! Painted Seasons

Image
Here is my resident Miffler from fantastic beasts with four little gift bags I crafted using the latest sale-a-bration offering. These papers representing spring, summer, autumn and winter are Free with a qualifying order of £90 along with a lovely detailed stamp set that matches them. See the pinecones on the third bag - they are one of the detailed images stamped with only once with one colour of ink and yet it looks almost photographic. Also on March 1st it is possible to purchase a set of framelits to match. So well worth waiting to order until the 1st March!! This is my own design from years and years ago which I perfected from using it for a party bag for my children's birthday parties. The bag takes a whole sheet of 12x12 inch paper and maybe some more if you want to decorate it a bit more. OR make it slightly shorter and just use the one sheet. I designed it so it has a pocket all around the front and for a party bag this allows lots of extra goodies to be tucked into ...

Mechanic Monday - again!

Image
Now I love this frog stamp set FREE with Sale-a-bration! I had a little look at my other stamp sets as he goes with so many things - I have lots of cards to show you featuring this set paired with other bits and bobs. In this set he is holding a spanner - this cute embellishment is from the Spring/Summer catalogue and the embellishments include spanners and keys (watch out for the key later this week!) There is also a small joke there on the can (in you 'can' and the oil can!) I know, I am trying to brighten your day!! In the meantime I have used papers from the Classic Garage 6 x 6 inch paper stack and this little frog is all set to represent mechanic monday! (it makes me think of 'manic monday' by the Bangles - I love that song!) Hope you Monday is not too manic!! JoP x Such a helpful frog!

Birthday Wishes Card

I made this card ages and ages ago at a retreat but I hadn't finished off the front panel as I didn't know what to put on it. I had already used some ribbon and I was stuck. I just got these cut out sentiments from the Spring / Summer catalogue 'Well written framelit dies' They are on page 27 and I thought they would come in useful. I bought the bundle with the 'well said' stamps but if you only wanted the framelits they are £37.00. They include 24 dies and not all are sentiments but some handy images also. I am sure I will be featuring this set over the next couple of years!! The stamp set and papers used are from the Tropical Escape suite on page 120 and 121 of the annual catalogue. This die with the square and cut out rain forest type of leaves is the reason I love the set and I have some other projects to show you soon on my blog but at the moment they are on display in my local library until the end of February so I will post some more using this set ...
