Image
Lots of ideas on how you can use your Robot Buddies kit today with a link to a You Tube video HERE. There's a tonne of stuff in this kit: TWO ink spots, Two sticker sheets, some wobbly eyes, two sheets of speech marks for your sentiments, 9 card bases, 9 envelopes and a stamp set with a block. Oh yes and some dimensionals. All you need is scissors to make the 9 cards in the kit and the instructions are also inside the box.  These are the images in the stamp set If you want to make some of the alternative cards, such as the one above, tags and mini album you may also want some blank note cards OR some whisper white card and a trimmer to cut it with. However, you can make a lot using just the kit! Here are the alternative cards I made. You can make backgrounds using the cogs stamps and also make use of lots of extra stickers and components that are in the kit. Here are some tags I made with the stamps and stickers. The album uses two cards and two envelopes plus another card for th

Hello everyone, As part of my card Kit series this month I am showing how you can make additional cards using the kits after you have finished making the cards actually in the kit to make further cards with a minimum of additional supplies. This post I am featuring the Light the Candles card kit which is £18.00 and has enough supplies in it to make 8 full sized fabulously sparkly cards 4 each of two different designs. The photo below shows the second design. You can watch the whole process on my You Tube podcast this week. The podcast includes my crafting catch up at the beginning, then at the end of the video is how to use the kit and a few additional supplies to complete these additional cards. Or see below for written instructions and photographs. I am writing to you from a slightly rainy North Devon today. Following a HUGE amount of downtime! (I do apologise for the inconsistency.) 8 weeks ago I had a hip replacement operation and I was just about to get some freedom and get out and drive again when I caught covid which kept me in bed for a few days and indoors isolating for a few more. Prior to that I was preparing for my daughter, husband, baby and dog to come and live with us which required some house decluttering, decorating and building of a cabin in the garden. All is well now. My craft room (now a nursery) has been moved into my bedroom and it lots of fun having such a busy house. Lots of physio is underway to help me to get out and walk my now two dogs.   KITS This month Stampin' Up have a special offer on kits. You can buy one and get one half price! This is great news for beginner crafters and seasoned crafters alike. I personally love making kits especially when I have lost my crafting mojo and they are handy if

Back To Business

Goodness it has been an awfully long time since I wrote my Joppy Blog!! I have been crafting lots but I had not been doing much paper crafting and having a break , learning to master socks and embroidery and starting to learn some quilting also. I have really enjoyed these other crafts so much I am going forward with multi crafting and you will soon be able to catch up with me on a weekly You Tube where I will talk about what I am making and what I am planning. I also rejoined Stampin' Up as an independent demonstrator in January and so I will also be talking about what I sell in my online shop and what I am making with it.  My shop is linked in the menu above or you can click to join my shop HERE For a while I have posted projects on Instagram and I will continue to do this but for the moment I am no longer using Facebook. I had my profile copied on Facebook and I really didn't like that feeling that someone can just use my photos and set up a Facebook page and even invite my

Primrose Week

I have Wallace modelling Primrose week which was back at the end of February now. The primroses are beginning to sprout up everywhere as is the wild garlic (It is wild garlic this week) . Also magpie, fly and squirrel week have all flown by and although I have studied them and enjoyed learning about them, I have not blogged them. My photos when I blog take about half a day to upload so I have put off the blogging due to having an enormous catch up. I definitely got carried away and joined in with several monthly 'clubs' Unfortunately I discovered them a bit late and so I have some catch up to do as well as progressing my own projects ..... and then the leftover wool and material is demanding to be made into additional projects as I HATE wasting anything!! I I have joined a BOM which stands for block of the month - however in this case it is 4 blocks a month  the good news is it is on the sewing machine - the bad news is I didn't have a cutting mat or special ruler so making
